Pablo is “outside” as they say, frequently blessing communities with large wall murals starting from his days living in Miami, Florida. But he’s and an inside guy as well, bringing his textured and layered artwork into the gallery space.

In fact, Pablo has a two man art show with @schoollydee called #Gidzilla vs #KingKong, at @theherbalcarethc on the #UES of Manhattan. It’s the 3rd collaborative exhibition between Pablo and Schoolly D, the seminal #Philly rap artist who many credit with inventing #GangstaRap with “PSK we’re making that green”

For #CoverLoverRemix, #1990s edition, Pablo went with an album cover by #MastaAce, called #TakeALookAround, released in July of 1990. Here he talks about process, the inspiration, process and being creative at night. Check it out.

Cover Lover Remix Artist Talk At Garner Arts Center on June 18th, 2022., with CLR artists Lisa D'Amico, Patricia Stewart, and Debbie Silberberg. All three of the artists are in the exhibition via the juried open call for artists, voted on by a jury of Dick Burroughs, Charlotte Mouquin (Executive Director of Pelham Art Center) and Jesse Heffler (Programs and Operations Director at Garner Arts Center).

We talked about inspiration, the remix process and their thoughts about the Cover Lover Remix concept.
